I CAN’T FORGET WHAT HAPPENED BUT NO ONE ELSE REMEMBERS floats in the reflecting pool as call to create national memorial to survivors of rape and abuse.

As far as I’m concerned, it is Beyoncé’s world and we’re just living in it.

Planning a trip to Vancouver, which means I then wonder if I should go other places, and OMG why is Missoula so cheap why can’t I go wah wah.
Immediately after this photo was taken last July, a group of young gutter punks excitedly said hello to me. Perhaps they recognized a kindred spirit 12 years removed.

Teach your pupils the rewards of kindness by adding a ribbon to a wreath everytime they do something kind.

I LOVE THIS!
Who wants to send me all their ribbon scraps?

I have three bags of scrap ribbon. I know who’s getting it now!

in a second grade class i worked in they did something like this with scales for a rainbow fish. the kids got to write their name on a scale each time they did something “kind” and it was put up on the fish

Was this a tie-in to the story?  Because the idea that it might be made me squeal with glee a little.  By which I mean I actually made a squeaky noise in excitement, because I’m very fond of that book as a classic, and that tie-in idea especially, and the person across the table from me looked up and asked if I was alright.
